We're a community of Christian technologists, thinkers, and leaders working at the intersection of faith and AI. We provide the content, community, and convenings needed to build technology that actually reflects what we believe about what it means to be human.
What is Faithbase?
Technology is not neutral. Every system we build encodes assumptions about what matters, who counts, and what humans are for. Most of those assumptions are never examined.
Faithbase exists for the people who want to change that. We are a community and platform for Christian technologists, entrepreneurs, investors, and leaders who are building AI and technology — and who believe that their faith has something concrete to say about how they build, not just whether they build.
We work at three levels:
- Formation — Helping builders develop the moral frameworks and habits of discernment they need before they ship, not after.
- Dialogue — Convening honest, rigorous conversations between technologists, theologians, ethicists, and practitioners.
- Action — Producing resources, events, and tools that move from reflection into practice.
We don't critique from the sidelines. We work with the people who are actually building.

Why Romania
Romania is one of Europe's fastest-growing technology ecosystems — and one of its least-discussed. The country produces engineers at scale, builds real products, and exports technical talent globally. The builders are already here. The ethical formation largely isn't.
At the same time, Romania holds something rare: a living intersection of Orthodox, Catholic, and evangelical Christian traditions. That theological pluralism is not a complication — it's a resource. It produces richer dialogue, sharper disagreements, and more robust frameworks than any single tradition could generate alone.
This is why Faithbase is based here. We're not importing a conversation from elsewhere. We're building one from a context that has genuine theological depth, technical credibility, and a generation of young builders who are asking the right questions at exactly the right moment.
If we can develop faith-informed approaches to AI ethics and formation here — and we believe we can — the model travels. To Central and Eastern Europe. To the global conversation about what it means to build technology that serves human flourishing.
